Terms of Service — Gourmz

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Gourmz ("the app," "we," "our," or "us"), published by Just Vibez LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Gourmz (or at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area). By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Accounts & Security

Using Gourmz requires an account created with your email and a password. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential
• All activity that happens under your account
• Giving accurate information when you sign up
• Telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Gourmz offers "Gourmz Pro," an auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features. Subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat and billed by the platform you bought them on:

• Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription length (for example, monthly or annual) and price are shown in the app before you buy.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we do not process refunds directly, except where required by law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, or distribute any part of the app
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app, other accounts, or our infrastructure
• Use the app in any way that could disable, damage, overburden, or impair it
• Upload content that is illegal or that infringes the rights of others

7. Food, Nutrition & Health Disclaimer

Recipes, cooking and prep times, ingredient lists, and any nutritional information in Gourmz are provided for general informational purposes only. They are not professional dietary, medical, or allergen advice. You are responsible for safe food handling and for checking ingredients against your own dietary needs, allergies, and restrictions. Always use your own judgment, and consult a qualified professional for medical or dietary concerns.

8. Third-Party Services

Gourmz relies on third-party services — including Supabase, RevenueCat with the Apple App Store and Google Play, Google AdMob, Sentry, and Expo / EAS — to operate. Your use of features powered by these services may also be subject to their terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

9. Intellectual Property

The app itself — including its name, logo, design, and software, but excluding your content — is owned by Just Vibez LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without our written permission.

10. Disclaimers

Gourmz is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or free of interruptions, and we are not responsible for any loss of data due to technical issues. You use the app at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Vibez LLC and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using Gourmz and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. When your access ends, the license granted to you ends, and the parts of these Terms that should survive (such as disclaimers and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be resolved under applicable Pennsylvania and US federal law.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. The date at the top of this page will always reflect when it was last revised.
